Friends Without Borders is dedicated to inspiring people to embrace compassion, to respect life and to live in harmony with one another. We strongly believe that peace on earth can only become a reality when all people rise above national boundaries, politics, religion and ideologies. We need to celebrate our cultural diversities rather than using them as a reason for conflict. There has already been too much suffering for the sake of ethnic and national interests and gains. It doesn’t matter how much power and prosperity a nation achieves if its people are the victims of prejudice and internal conflict.

Friends Without Borders is based on the reality that it is indeed peace that brings about real happiness to people and the world. Peace is not a season; it is a way of life. It is indeed peace that brings about real happiness to people and countries. Therefore it does not relate to a particular period of the year or a particular era in history. It is throughout the lifetime of a person, of a people, of a country, of a universe. It is not just for a particular aspect of people’s lives, but the whole of their human experience. Peace is and should be in daily activities of life and interactions of people beyond race, age, sex, profession, socio-economic and political status. Peace within and without people can be the liberating essence of real human development. Genuine peace can bring happiness and harmony, unity, social justice and equality. It is peace clearly understood and lived fully that can make this world a happy place to live.

Friends Without Borders believes that peace should be achieved only by mutual understanding through participatory training methodology and all individuals be respected and heard. Unless we respect each other peace could not be achieved. Peace cannot be given, it should be received or taken; we can help people who have no peace in their lives by giving our love. So we should give our love the way somebody needs it today. Do not wait till tomorrow.

There is only one Earth, where we all have to live together whether we like it or not. We living creatures, especially human beings, are responsible to make the earth better or worse. All living things are interrelated with each other. The earth has become very small because of modern and scientific development. A group of people cannot be isolated in a corner and remain unaffected by the events of another group of people in a different corner of the earth. Nowadays war is going on in many parts of the world. Common citizens are dying without any reason. Soldiers die. The result is uncertainty of life and relatives and friends will never meet them again. Lots of resources are being spent on that life killing war machinery. So-called leaders are utilizing time for making war strategy rather than planning to improve our common earth. We have not yet learned much about humanity. We divide ourselves into many categories like developed and underdeveloped, rich and poor, white and black etc.

Let us say we are human beings, we have one earth. Therefore let us share our ideas, resources to make our lives happy and work for a bright future.
